The Best View in Athens

If your TikTok For You page is anything like mine, then it is filled with travel content, with videos showing the sunnier sides of the globe that I just wish to explore immediately. Yet, on my recent city break to Athens, TikTok changed the itinerary of the trip for the better. I was scrolling mindlessly a few days before I was scheduled to jet out of Heathrow, and one of the short videos that caught my attention was a Athens focused one by @cheapholidayexpert. Chelsea, the wonderful person who runs the account, had posted a stunning view of a restaurant on top of one of the many hills in Athens to a TikTok trending sound and video format. This TikTok changed my plans for one of my evenings in the Greek capital.

If you want absolutely immaculate views of the Athens, great food and even better wine then this restaurant is a must-go! Orizontes Lycabettus is located on the tallest hill in Athens, Lycabettus, and with a Mediterranean focused menu, the venue is one you shouldn't miss. The menu is decedent and the restaurant presents itself as a place of pure luxury, with main courses starting from €20 and a glass of wine from €6. While the menu is rather pricey if you are travelling on a budget, so even if you only go for a glass of wine and a dessert, the view is unmistakably one of the best.
